The Polish Education Society
For many years our school has been a full and active member of the Polish Education Society based in London. This is an organization that brings together Polish schools, coordinates cooperation with the Ministry of Education in Poland and organizes training and conferences for teachers.
Thanks to this membership our pupils take part in competitions, academies and performances representing our school.
As a member of PMS we also receive discounts on conference and training fees for students preparing for A Level exams and for teachers at all levels of education.
The “Polish Community” Association
The “Polish Community” Association is a non-governmental organization established in February 1990. The Association operates under the patronage of the Senate of the Republic of Poland and cooperates with the Minister of Foreign Affairs. The Association, treating its work as a service, constantly develops the scope of its involvement in order to strengthen the ties between the Polish community and Poles living abroad and their homeland. The Association carries out state tasks commissioned by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Culture and National Heritage and Ministry of Sport.
St. Andrew Bobola Parish Church
This parish church, purchased from Scottish Presbyterians in 1961, was dedicated to St. Andrew Bobola, martyr of Eastern borderlands of Poland. After renovation and adapting it to Polish needs the church was consecrated on December 8, 1961 by Fr. Infulat Michalski.
Throughout its existence the parish played and still plays a dual role: on the one hand it is a normal parish serving the Poles living in this part of London, and on the other hand it is the center of Polish religious and national life.
